Commercial Film & Video Projects

(Presently reactivating the video production part of my career).

March 2000 - May 2003: Participated in technical and product feature production for  RV Today, the Affinity Group cable TV show (Outdoor Life Network) which included coordination of feature vehicle RVs for video shooting at the Ventura, CA office location; arranging location permits, props, and equipment logistics, RV driving segments, shooting B ”roll and second camera features, editing technical and feature scripts for the show; and proofing the final shows for accurate technical content before airing.

1987:   Co-wrote, photographed and edited “The Treasures of Baja Californiaa 30 minute 16mm documentary film, with Gary and Monika Wescott of The Turtle Expedition Unltd.  Available on videocassette.   www.turtleexpedition.com

1981: Grip, general helper and part-time focus puller for American Taboo, ”an independent film by Steve Lustgarten and Ron Schmidt.

1979:  Wrote, photographed and edited “Northwest Fourwheelin,a 30-minute 16mm documentary film.   

1978-79: Co-wrote, photographed and edited PSA commercials for Clackamas Community College, Oregon City, OR. Won Cindy award from IFPA, the Information Film Producers of America.

Education & Training

2002:  Digital Video “Boot Camp”offered by The Digital Imaging Center, Ojai, California.

1978: Attended film animation classes at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon; Bob Gardiner (academy award for Best Animated Short, Closed Mondays), instructor.
