Jeff Johnston: Writer, photographer, video producer

Jeff Johnston has been writing stories and shooting photos for automotive, four-wheel-drive vehicle, light truck, recreational vehicle (RV) and non-automotive publications, including model railroad hobbyist and railroad/timber industry history and modeling magazines, since 1978. His enthusiasm and passion for his subjects, and in-depth knowledge in these areas, give his writing the kind of integrity his readers appreciate and seek out.

The MDC Shay Handbook is Jeff's first published book in the model railroad hobby field. It's been well received by hobbyists and has had two printings and two print run sellouts to date.
